Bright Lights, Big City…New York City is a great place to explore, enjoy and celebrate. Join Bullas Travel for a fun filled 6 day excursion to the Big Apple, where the razzle dazzle of Broadway merges with the bustle of Times Square in an exciting feast for all the senses. Visit the city’s renowed landmarks, experience the magic of the world’s premier theatre scene and gaze at the breathtaking skyline that continues to enthrall visitors with its power and beauty.
DAY 1 Today you will travel by motor coach to the Hilton Hotel in downtown Scranton, PA. Upon arrival, enjoy a special reception followed by our Welcome Dinner at the hotel. This evening relax in the indoor saltwater heated pool and whirlpool or contact family using the hotel’s complimentary WiFi.
DAY 2 After your included breakfast, your road trip continues as you make your way to New York City. There will be time for lunch on your own before afternoon touring of the Rockefeller Center and an included visit to the Top of the Rock for sunning views of the city skyline. Your hotel for the next three nights is the Homewood Suites by Hilton Times Square South in midtown Manhattan, with easy access to everything that New York has to offer…theatres, art and music venues, and shopping. Daily breakfasts and dinners are included at the hotel. Tonight you will attend the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes…a New York annual traditional holiday performance.
DAY 3 After your included breakfast, today’s sightseeing will include major attractions in Manhattan including 5th Avenue, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the 9/11 Center, the World Trade Memorial Museum. Dinner tonight is at the hotel with the evening free to enjoy at your leisure. This is the perfect opportunity for you to take advantage of an optional Broadway performance (cost to be advised).
DAY 4 After your included breakfast, you will continue to explore the city with a three hour tour of uptown Manhattan featuring signature attractions in Harlem such as the Apollo Theatre, and the Cotton Club. Lunch is on your own, and you may wish to do some early Christmas shopping in the afternoon as Macy’s and Bloomingdales are primed for the holiday season. Your included dinner tonight is at the hotel before we celebrate the final evening in New York by taking in an included Broadway show.
DAY 5 After your included breakfast, you might wish to take time to see New York’s famous Macy’s Thanksgiving parade before your noon time departure from Scranton. On arrival to your hotel, the Hilton Hotel in Scranton, you will enjoy a Welcome Reception, followed b a traditional American Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet with all the trimmings.
DAY 6 After your included breakfast, continue your drive back to the Kitchener / Waterloo area with a stop at the Premium Outlets in Waterloo, New York for an extended lunch break and Black Friday shopping…major sales and the kick off of the Holiday Season. You will arrive home in the early evening with fond memories of your exciting trip to the Big Apple.
